Pros: Very well priced product and I like the idea of low single use plastics because in a practical sense there are multiple gel serves in the one pouch, which makes it less cumbersome in the back of the jersey. The gel powder mixes really easily, adjusting consistency is great because I personally prefer more liquidy consistency. The flavour is spot on, not too overpowering and they mix well with each other too.
Cons: Only two in my experience and they both concern the pouch. First is the nozzle is a little bit fiddly to disassemble and clean, I imagine after a few months or a year of solid use it may not stand up to constant disassembly/reassembly cleaning cycles from use.
The other is the pouch is unfortunately just about useless for a single serving of gel, due to the rigid collar around the bite nozzle. This makes getting the last serve of gel out a bit of an ordeal on the bike, perhaps a fully soft-silicone pouch as an upgrade?
Otherwise I am very happy with the quality and product performance on the bike, cheers.
